Peak District Sunset - United Kingdom Panorama Version A spectacular sunset with colours radiating throughout the landscape, rays breaking through the clouds. Was quite a spectacle!
I cannot remember where I took this (in United Kingdom, between Carlisle and Kendal), as it was on an unnamed road I had been driving down barely wide enough to fit 1 car. The day was cold but just to my left this scene popped up, with a gentle stream running down towards several old abandoned stone cottages. One can only wonder how long it took to construct those stone walls, so pervasive throughout the UK landscape as you escape the confines of the city.
Somewhere towards Glencoe, Scotland A cold day filled with almost continuous snow fall, at times fairly harsh, we drove along this deserted road which happened to follow a nice meandering river. Snow and rainfall meant the water flow was good, albeit very cold ambient temperatures.
