The Calm - Lake Wakatipu - New Zealand There are not many roads that I know of as scenic as that from going to Glenorchy from Queenstown. Set in the mountainside along lake Wakatipu, you are exposed to some of the most amazing mountainscapes known to man. There are so many stunning landscapes in fact you could say it was a landscape overload!

The Calm Storm - Phillip Island - Australia A nice hike allowed us to visit this point on Phillip Island. Clouds had rolled in, and with it rain, creating swells and low light conditions. Although there was no spectacular sunset colours, in black and white, there is a certain tranquility to the whole scene that shows the peace that exists in a storm.
